Development Framework | Introduction

In order to meet the high expectations that come with product development Hydrix follow the Hydrix Development Framework, a basic set of guidelines followed for all projects undertaken.

The Hydrix Development Framework is a structured, repeatable set of rules that can be followed within the finite time-frame of a project. It assists in maintaining consistency with all projects undertaken and allows us to apply measures to how we work. By following a good methodology we can be best equipped to determine time-lines and reduce risks within projects – and also be able to continuously improve how we do things and deliver best quality products on time and on budget.

The Hydrix Framework is a basic methodology that can be altered, extended or reduced to fit the needs of the unique product to be developed. We can use Agile methodologies for projects requiring light and flexible process through to defence-style or Waterfall project structures. The best type of process to execute is determined after analysing the client and product strategies.

The Hydrix Framework is a solid foundation with its main aim being to provide the appropriate ‘map’ for the project team to best navigate through the exciting process of developing new products!
