The last year has seen our reputation continue to grow as a talented & quality focussed design & development team that gets off on tackling the challenging jobs. And we’re not just about just doing a good job - anyone can do that - we’re all about designing the sort of stuff that makes our Clients rave. We’re obviously doing something right as the demand for our services has skyrocketed and we need to expand our design team fast. We’ve got some great projects for local, national and international clients (and they’re continuing to mount) so if you, or someone you know, is truly an exceptional engineer and has interest and/or experience in the following areas, please make contact with us asap (jobs@hydrix.com): Mobile Biomedical Industrial control & laboratory equipment Wireless Laboratory An ideal candidate would have experience across: Detailed component level design Analogue, digital & systems design Owning your past projects Design for automated manufacture Design for internatonal regulatory compliance (FCC, UL, CE, FDA and other acronyms) Can demonstrate a track record of success The Other Important Stuff We don’t like sloppy We like people who engage in meaningful conversations regularly and clearly We like people who don’t need to be told - they love what they do and just get right into things We like people who like people - team work is essential if we’re going to continue to amaze clients (yes you will need to speak to those software guys and the test team) So What Sort of Company is Hydrix ? We’re pretty flexible - while the mothership is in Carnegie we don’t mind if you need to work from home from time to time - as long as you’ re producing exceptional stuff We’ve been around for almost 9 years now so we’re here to stay We currently employ around 25 engineers which makes us one of the largest electronic design consultancies in Australia Our philosophy is that as long as the work is being done - and done extraordinarily well - then its okay to have a bit of fun. No nerf ball wars sorry (too much stuff gets knocked over) but regular video game competitions, drinks most Fridays (when our Sales guy remembers to buy the wine) and Monday morning coffee & cake so we can talk as team about the sort of stuff we’re doing.
