The last year has seen our reputation continue to grow as a talented and quality focussed design & development team that loves tackling the challenging jobs. And we’re not just about just doing a good job - anyone can do that - we’re all about developing the sort of products and services that make our Clients rave. We’re obviously doing something right as the demand for our services has skyrocketed and we need to permanently expand our software design team fast. Given the number of great projects we have on our books - for local, national and international clients - we need some great project managers. The sort of people who can wrestle a project to the ground get the team humming and exceed our Client’s expectations on every level. And all before lunch. So if you, or someone you know, is an experienced project manager and has knowledge of the following areas, please make contact with us asap (jobs@hydrix.com): Mobile Biomedical Industrial control & laboratory equipment Wireless Transport Consumer You should have experience in Software or electronic development Leading and working with teams consisting of software, electronics, mechanical & manufacturing engineers, often across multiple sites The Other Important Stuff We don’t like sloppy We like people who engage in meaningful conversations regularly and clearly We like people who don’t need to be told - they love what they do and just get right into things We like people who like people - team work is essential if we’re going to continue to amaze clients (yes you will need to speak to those strange electronics and software design guys and the test team) We like people who lead, mentor and share information We like people who are organised and can lead by example So What Sort of Company is Hydrix ? We’re pretty flexible - while the mothership is in Carnegie we don’t mind if you need to work from home from time to time - as long as you’ re producing good stuff We’ve been around for almost 9 years now so we’re here to stay We currently employ around 25 engineers which makes us one of the largest software & electronic design consultancies in Australia Our philosophy is that as long as the work is being done - and being done well - then its okay to have a bit of fun. No nerf ball wars sorry (too much stuff gets knocked over) but regular video game competitions, drinks most Fridays (when our Sales guy remembers to buy the wine) and Monday morning coffee & cake so we can talk as team about the sort of stuff we’re doing.
