The Hp 39 G?+ is the new Hp 39 G? package. Has an extra TVM applet and the new keyboard. Has an ARM CPU at 75 M Hz? and therefore very fast compared to the older Hp38/39G. CAS has been totally removed from the ROM vs just disabled in the Hp 39 G? (in case anyone wants to try to enable, its not there or so says Hp sources). Still limited number of variables (27) and no RPN option. Aimed and marketed at the High School market. Ample memory and functions that make it an ok graphics. It is not in the same league as the Hp48/49G series in features, though has more memory and speed than the compariably priced Hp 48 GII? (I would still suggest a 48GII over this for any college technical courses).

Still an improvement and better calculator than its competition, the Ti-83/84 line, but will probably not matter as most texts and schools are going to stay with Ti for the forseable future.

Nice styling (as if that should matter). The new keyboard is a return to the Hp38/48G series keyclick and much improved over the rubber keyboards of the earlier 39/49G series.
