can anybody change this?
First real replacement for the 41 series. The 48 series had real I/O which the earlier 28 series lacked with a bi-directional IR interface and a real RS-232 port. It also supported two additional RAM/ROM cards that could expand its memory to 288K (SX version, S version had no expansion slots). This made this the most powerful and versatile calculator yet. This platform was very customizable and could be made to perform most any task.
