The 48gII is the low-end version of the 49g+, and shares many of it's features. It has the same body and keyboard as the 49g+, but with a silver color scheme instead of the gold. The CPU is the same, but runs at 48Mhz instead of the 75Mhz the 49g+ uses. The screen size is back down to 131x64, there is 128K (80k usable) RAM, and there is no Flash RAM or SD slot. This prevents upgrading the operating system or using more than a few programs. As a math only machine, the 48gII is just as powerful as the 49g+, and the same speed can be obtained by using overclocking software. Any 49g+ program that does not take advantage of the large screen and will fit in the memory should be able to run on the 48gII, including programs written in C and using ARM code.
