The Carestream DRX-Revolution Nano Mobile X-Ray System is a groundbreaking solution addressing the challenges of traditional mobile X-ray units, including excessive weight, limited maneuverability, and operator strain. Collaborating with Micro-X, Hydrix spearheaded the development of this ultra-lightweight, cost-effective, and ergonomically optimized bedside imaging system.

Hydrix drove the project from concept to production, achieving several key innovations:
- Carbon Nano Tube Technology: Integrated the world’s first CNT field emission X-ray tubes, enabling a compact, lightweight design without sacrificing image quality.
- Ultra-Lightweight Design: Achieved a weight of just 105 kg, significantly lighter than traditional 400 kg plus units, through employing carbon fibre composites and a monocoque chassis.
- Enhanced Manoeuvrability: Compact dimensions, a 180-degree view, and advanced handle design with integrated controls ensure ease of navigation in tight, crowded spaces.
- Designed for all users: The articulated arm with extended reach and independent control handles enables seamless control, improving workflow and usability.
- Cost Efficiency: Developed an affordable product to expand access to advanced bedside imaging, particularly in emerging markets.
Micro-X launched globally by Carestream Health, the system has received strong market demand, particularly in cost-sensitive markets.
