If your prior heart attack did not provide recognisable symptoms you may be worried about correctly recognising your next event. The GUARDIAN provides another layer of protection by being more accurate than symptoms alone and even alerting in the complete absence of symptoms.

The GUARDIAN removes the guesswork when it comes to your heart health, providing you with peace of mind1,2 and allowing you to return to an active, confident lifestyle.

What is the GUARDIAN and how does it help?

The GUARDIAN is a heart monitoring and alerting device, implanted in a procedure similar to that of a pacemaker. The GUARDIAN continuously monitors your heart’s electrical activity and looks for changes which may indicate that your heart muscle is not getting enough oxygen. If such a change is detected the GUARDIAN alerts you to seek emergency assistance.

The GUARDIAN alerts to keep you informed

When the GUARDIAN detects a potential event, it vibrates alerting you that you need to take action. In addition to the vibration, it communicates with a pager-sized device that both beeps and flashes, letting you know that you need to either call your doctor or an ambulance.
