Improving quality of life for heart attack patients
The GUARDIAN® removes the guesswork when it comes to a patient’s heart health, providing peace of mind and allowing the patient to return to an active, confident lifestyle. Patients in the ALERTS1,2 study reported Quality of Life improved with the GUARDIAN.
The GUARDIAN now supports many people with heart health issues throughout the USA and Asia Pacific. Watch these short stories from patients and medical professionals about how the GUARDIAN is helping improve outcomes and increase confidence for heart attack patients.
Not short of breath, no pain, nothing
Sam Hutchinson experienced no symptoms with his first heart attack. He had surgery to implant stents but remained at risk and so also received the GUARDIAN device. The GUARDIAN alerted Sam to seek emergency treatment when he had a second heart attack, again without symptoms.
It sees something the patient doesn't even feel
