A near empty office mid-week, but work carries on…
At Hydrix, we are closely following guidance from government and medical authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of our project teams as they continue to develop breakthrough products and technologies.
We are lucky in one respect that our IT systems and remote collaboration tools were already well established and practiced, and have enabled the team to seamlessly make the transition to working from home. A few remain in project laboratories, practicing appropriate isolation rules, continuing project work that cannot leave the office.
Of course, we remain product developers at heart, with so many of the team wanting to do what they can to help with this global challenge. Ideas and concepts are being shared across the network. Our designers and engineers have been motivated to contribute solutions to help with distributing potentially life-saving technology ideas such as fast-to-market ventilators, or helping productise and productionise personal protective equipment (PPE) ideas being designed and trialled by medical professionals around the world.
It’s a globally challenging time, but it’s heartening how the Hydrix community has responded. We are truly inspired by the team’s dedication to getting on with day to day (project) life.
