Hydrix congratulates Venstra Medical for securing a BioMedTech Horizons grant, via MTP Connect. The grant will contribute to the development of their catheter-inserted collapsible heart pump that provides temporary cardiac support for patients suffering cardiogenic shock or haemodynamic compromise. The device, the ‘SAVA System’, is designed to be delivered into the heart via a catheter,inserted by a cardiologist without the need for surgery, providing rapid, life-sustaining support for patients.
The Hydrix team, with its deep cardiac technology experience, is looking forward to collaborating on the development of this ground-breaking technology.
